The very rare and unique grape varietal Lagrein, is founded in Northern Italy and was originally used in blended red wines and used as a component to make Rose. Our winemakers got creative and discovered how rich and full of flavour this variety is on it’s own. Our Lagrein has a soft and full structured palate with dark chocolate, plum and undertones of liquorice. It has a complex bouquet of violets, leather and spice and is a rich, brilliant purple colour. An ideal accompaniment to red meat dishes. Ready for Enjoyment now. Store in a cool dry environment.

Our chief winemaker Carmelo personally hand crafts these wines, and limits production to ensure that quality is never compromised. The grapes of the 1164 Lagrein, are from small parcels of carefully selected vines in premium growing areas of the Riverina in New South Wales.
