Packaging Operators

Reporting directly to the Leading Hand/Supervisor, this position involves: operation of specialist packaging plant and equipment including role, key features, components, set up, change over and start up, dissemble, cleaning and assembly including sterilisation, pre and post operational checks and general routine maintenance.

We are seeking flexible and reliable individuals, with an open outlook to learn all aspects of packaging operations. Successful applicants will be required to work as a part of a team, participate in training programs and be available to work extended hours including rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays as required. Possession of a Forklift Licence is desirable.

Maintenance/Tradesperson

This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and involves a range of activities including: repair and maintenance of machinery, plant and equipment; general cutting, welding and fabrication work (stainless steel); creation and modification of tools and parts for custom use; and complying with company policies, processes and procedures.

We are seeking a flexible, disciplined, results focused individual. The successful candidate will be required to work both individually and as part of a team with the ability to take ownership of allocated work tasks. Completion or part completion of a trade certificate (Fabrication) and previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is essential. Availability to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and the vintage period is also required.

Cellar Operators

Reporting directly to the Leading Hand/Supervisor, this position involves: operation of specialist cellar plant and equipment, grape receivals and processing, transfers, filtration, red and white wine fermentation, blending and general housekeeping duties.

We are seeking applicants that are highly motivated and are willing to be part of a team. You will be given on the job training while participating in training programs. Applicants would also require being available to work rotating shifts throughout the year and working vintage period as required. Previous experience is an advantage but not essential.

Senior White Winemaker

Reporting direct to the Chief Winemaker, this position involves a range of activities including: monitoring the maturity of grapes to ensure quality and determine the correct time for harvest; monitor the crushing and pressing of grapes, clarification of juice, fermentation and filtration of wine; liaise with and support cellar staff; testing the quality of wine by tasting; monitoring the storage and maturation of wine; coordinate and control the production of wine to ensure volume and quality are met; making sure quality is maintained when wine is bottled; involved in strategic planning of site winemaking; providing leadership and technical direction to the winemaking team; participate in promotional and public relations functions, tastings and educational sessions.

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external customers. The successful applicant will be required to work as a part of a dynamic team and be prepared to work shifts and overtime, including vintage as required. Completion of tertiary qualifications in Wine Science or equivalent and practical winemaking experience including past vintages is essential.
