1164 is our flagship brand representing wines that are a limited release. To be an 1164 Limited release the wine must be of the highest quality, and if it doesn’t meet the standard the vintage is not released. The wines are all matured in French and American oak barrels for at least 12 months.

Montepulciano, Lagrein & Durif are Italian varietals produced from Warburn’s vineyards and are carefully managed to ensure quality is maintained. All three varieties are exceptionally well suited to the climate of the Riverina region as it resembles the climate native to these varieties.

Our 1164 Shiraz has been blended with high quality grapes sourced from the Mclaren Vale region in SA. Grapes have been sourced from this region due to its name of being one of the best regions to grown Shiraz grapes in Australia.
